Awesome! I especially like their seemingly coordinated t-shirt colors which gives the shot some punch. Wondering why you’re on the iPad… was it not being broadcast on every TV station? I was planning to watch the launch, but slept through it! End of an era, for sure.

We were using the iPad because we hadn’t yet figured out how to interface with Derrick’s AppleTV, of course :). I checked for NASA TV on Derrick’s cable (FIOS actually), but didn’t think to look at broadcast channels. Certainly would not have had the 1 hour preshow we got on the NASA app.
Lucas had a great line, when I told him the Shuttle was retiring after this– “Will they launch it again when it’s not tired anymore?”
