We decided to donate Lucas’s old shoes and thought we’d document how far he’s come 🙂
Average lifespan is 4 months per pair…

So what did kids do before Velcro? I do have vague memories of my shoes constantly being tied. Does Lucas even know what that means?

I remember seeing velcro shoes for the first time in 4th grade and thinking how awesome they were. Yes, Lucas knows about tying grown up shoes, but obviously, he can’t do it himself. Heck he mostly refuses to put on his velcro shoes himself. I’m like his butler :).

Cool! We’re a bit behind in that circle of shoes. As he nears 16 months, Adam has had, I think 4 pairs of shoes — 2 Robees (like the first ones there), 1 pair of Velcro shoes, and a pair of boots. Looks like we’re going to have to step it up a notch!

Ha, “step” it up a notch!
Adam is just getting into the exponential part of the outgrowth curve!
