Quincy caterpillar

Climbing a ropes element. Looking at the time stamps, I’d guess Quincy climbed that distance in about 30 seconds… that’s about how long it takes to swing from one camera to the next.

Uploaded this one because every time I uploaded a close up, I’d get “would like to see evidence that he’s really 30 feet in the air.” And every panned out shot would be greeted in The Icebox with howls of “I really want to see his facial expression.”

Now they’ll claim that while either pic is great, the diptych falls short… just watch.

From the left picture to the right? How much higher is it?

  2. Jake Says:

About half the height of each segment… maybe 8 feet which is roughly 2.5 Quincies.

Actually, per the time stamp it was a 20 second gap. But I don’t know how close the camera’s clocks were synchronized.
