Had a impromptu portrait session this morning to take a suitable picture for Lucas’ preschool application. We printed out a 4×6, which cost me 5X more than it should have because I didn’t know about Wolf Camera’s $1 minimum. So, which of the 2 images do you prefer?

They’re both pretty cute, but from here, two votes for the left one. He looks curious, yet skeptical, as any scholar should be. In the right one, he looks like he’s just going to have fun, be the class cut-up, and not take his academics seriously.
These applications are serious business, right?!?

Ha, thanks guys, I actually think the same as Mike– lefty Lucas looks inquisitive and engaged, righty is up to no good. My facebook poll prefers the smiling guy on the right, though (4-2) :).

Wow – do you have to go through the preschool application process in CA too? I thought that was only a crazy New York City thing. Hopefully you don’t also have to write essays and go through the crazy interview process that we had to go through. We’re now having to get Brandon prepared to take the OLSAT test in order to get him into a good public school here (no joke). Wonder if they have any Kaplan classes.
