Day at the Pumpkin Patch
October 20th, 2009, 4:13am by Kelvin
We took Lucas to the pumpkin patch over the weekend.
They had some of those huge bounce house slides, with one shaped like a giant sinking ship.![]()
Lucas was intrigued, but he was a too scared to go up by himself (no adults were allowed). Luckily, we met Julian, a friendly 7-year old, who took little Lucas under his wing.
Here’s Julian encouraging Lucas to follow him once they are at the top of the slide.
Lucas is apprehensive on his way down, but Julian is very supportive.
But they’re all smiles once they get to the bottom! “Again!”ù yells Lucas!
Pretty obviously, Lucas needs a big brother. How do we get him one of those? 🙂

Brandon picked out a pumkin from a pile at our local Food Emporium supermarket. As we left, he pointed to the stack and said, “that’s the pumpkin patch”. City kid!

So Mike, I definitely posted this one from Windows Live Writer– The post is currently sourcing the broken thumbnails from the root of pyslent. Not sure if that was the original location.

Broken on the old site, too, which also referenced photos at the root.

Yeah, don’t know what happened — I fixed these at some point in the (lengthy) migration process, but they’re actually wrong in the file that I imported into WordPress. Maybe I’ll take the site down and give it another shot at some point…
