Mini Pre
April 30th, 2009, 6:47pm by JakeThe internet is abuzz today with rumors of the Palm Eos, which Engadget describes it as a super-thin (10.6mm vs. iPhone’s 11.6mm) 3G WebOS device from Palm due to land with AT&T as early as this fall. There’s been some chatter on Twitter today about this, what does everyone think? Specs after the pic.

I think it looks good. On PreCentral earlier today they had a size comparison between the Pre, iPhone, and Eos, and it looks like the Eos is nearly the same size as the iPhone, just thinner.
The three make an interesting group:
– iPhone: big screen, thin, no physical keyboard
– Pre: big screen, real keyboard, but thick
– Eos: real keyboard, thin, but small screen
As Kelvin pointed out before, the lack of wifi is pretty striking on the Eos.
I realize that Palm didn’t release this news, but I wonder if they’ll suffer the first double Osborne Effect I can think of.
