I learned how to use layers!

I learned how to use layers!

Here’s a photo that I manipulated in GIMP to create this effect, pretty cool. The camp colors are orange & gray, hence the scheme. I might throw in the official camp logo in the upper right, and maybe they’ll use that as the Ropes Course Logo. Plus, we need a new post at the top of the page. Ugh.

Don’t you think you might have too much blue, if that’s not an official color? Maybe it’s just me, but I think the split background makes it hard to appreciate that Nathan is suspended in air. Might work better as a 2-tone image.

Still working on it. The blue is just supposed to be sky. I’m really going for a Jerry West-type effect. I might also go back and get rid of the tree, and tighten the crop. The latest iteration sticks the official logo in the upper right, and that make it more balanced.

    Later & greater: link.
