iPhone!

About 70 people in line at the Apple store. Only about 7 at the Cingular/ AT&T store across the street. Looks like people prefer the Apple Store Retail Experience 10:1. Live from Emeryville. Back to you, Mike, for the Boston update…
This looks so cool. I’m almost tempted to buy one despite the $300 cost. Actually looks good. Check it out at MyLiveBoard, via Engadget.
This blurry image is a segway rider speeding down the backroads in Los Altos Hills. Kinda freaked Montana out, who’s used to seeing things like deer around here, not the “next big thing.”
Watching Big Papi take a big swing at the Red Sox – Padres game at Petco Park in San Diego.
Months ago, Runner’s World renamed some of their local forums to reflect the name of local races. Thus, one forum became “2007 Los Angeles Marathon.” I thought this was a poor decision, so I started a campaign to rename the places forum. After witnessing the lopsided, the administrators of the site listened to the user feedback and renamed the forum to “Southern California”. I’m still in shock. Maybe I’ll get those donuts after all.
I’ve posted about each of these devices individually, but all the possible combinations can really make my head spin. Suffice to say, the newest member of my A2DP family is the Anycom FIPO, pictured here in the 3G iPod dock, which I just received as a Fathers Day gift.
My Q and my Nano are A2DP sources, and can pair with, and wirelessly stream music to, either the MT820 headphones or the FIPO (which can then direct the sound to either of our cars or, via this dock, to a set of powered speakers or any other stereo line-in).
Not pictured– my laptop, which can also serve as a A2DP sound source.
Saw this item today about Microsoft changing desktop search following some Google whining. I used to have Google Desktop installed on my W2K box at work, but ditched it after reading about some pretty serious security holes. I installed the Microsoft desktop search tool instead, and it seems to work fine. What’s the problem w/ the new Vista search tool? Is this because it searches the web as well as the desktop? Feel free to discuss any other Microsoft v. Google battles here as well.
